LiteGait

LiteGait is a gait training device that simultaneously controls weight bearing, posture, and balance over a treadmill or over ground.  It creates an ideal environment for treating patients with a wide range of impairments and functional levels.

LiteGait provides proper posture, reduces weight bearing, eliminates concerns for balance, and facilitates the training of coordinated lower extremity movement.  Its unique harness design not only permits unilateral or bilateral support allowing progression of the weight bearing load from non to full weight bearing, but also allows the clinician to manually assist the legs and pelvis to achieve proper gait patterns.

The LiteGait harness provides frontal, sagittal and transverse plane postural control.

Next Generation BiSym

One of our most popular upgrades is the new Tablet BiSym, a unique option available with LiteGait to measure unilateral or bilateral support.  LiteGait’s unique design includes a two-armed yoke which holds the patient above each shoulder.  From these two points, the harness system can be adjusted to provide as much or as little support required to each side of the body.

The LiteGait’s sensors then measure the weight bearing load changes from the right to left side during the gait cycle.  The BiSym monitor displays the value of support provided by LiteGait in the selected weight units or a percentage of the patient’s body weight.  Toggle between weight and percentage by a touch of a button.  These real time measurements can be used as biofeedback for the patient.

Falls Prevention

The LiteGait’s unique harness and weight bearing system allow for patient to participate in balance and coordination exercises whilst having the confidence that they are protected from any potential risk falls.

Thanks to LiteGait, therapists are able shift their focus from protecting patients from potential hazards or fall risks and instead focus their attention on developing and retraining motor patterns to accelerate their patients road to recovery.

GaitSens Gait & Balance Analysis

GaitSens 2.0 provides real-time measurement, reporting, and feedback of temporal and spatial parameters of gait and balance.  Sensors installed in a GaitKeeper treadmill send data to a supplied tablet for clinician and user application.

Measure, assess and treat user gait in real-time with data on speed, cadence, swing time, step length, base of support and weight-bearing dynamics.  Graphical representation of data presented in Therapist View allows for quick and easy identification of asymmetries in gait.

Real-time data display is recorded to playback for clinician and client review, with recorded videos embedded to correspond with data playback.  The whole or sections of the session can be selected for further data analysis and reporting, allowing for comparison of performance in different conditions within the same recording.

Comprehensive reports are provided with step and stride length and time, gait cycle phases, weight-bearing, gait symmetry, speed, and cadence.  Reports can be compared with previous sessions to demonstrate progress over time, or with normal parameters.  Reports can be saved and printed for objective documentation and tracking of changes over time.  Raw data can also be reported for each stride.

QPads Balance Pads

The Innovative Balance Training System

Q-pads are an interactive rehabilitation system providing the user and clinician visual feedback via a pressure sensitive surface and bright multi-coloured LEDs. Appropriate for children and adults, upper and lower limbs, in sitting, standing or quadruped. They are easy to set up, strong enough to step on and even magnetic for vertical use. Different functions are available allowing the therapist to customise activities using multiple pads to tailor to the various needs of each user.
