SUPPORT

The LokoStation is specially designed for training and rehabilitating gait impaired patients, such as hemiplegic, paraplegic and recovering stroke patients in a safe and controlled atmosphere. With the LokoStation, therapists have access to quick and convenient weight offloading and specially designed adjustable seats for manually assisted treatments.

Patients feel secure and have a reduced fear of falling when attempting to stand and walk. They will be able to walk longer, faster and more rhythmically in their normal ergonomic standing position.

Therapist’s hands are free to perform neuromuscular re-education in the form of assisted placement of the feet and legs while “walking”.

The walking surface absorbs more of the impact than any other treadmill, to prevent further deterioration of bones, tendons, ligaments and muscles of the lower extremity, pelvis and lower back.

Lokostation is a device designed specifically for the therapy and re-education of patients with locomotor problems. With Lokostation, therapists have the ability to quickly and adequately distribute the patient’s body weight, so that the latter can concentrate on the coordination necessary for the exercise without fear of falling.

  1. Static/Dynamic Body Weight Support:
The patient support system allows for both static and dynamic body weight support. The dynamic system’s default unloading weight provides consistent support throughout the entire gait cycle. The static system supports and secures the patient with a fixed weight. This feature allows the therapist to tailor the therapy session to the patient’s specific needs.
  2. Symmetrical/asymmetrical support:
With the adjustable and asymmetrical suspension rope on the two hips, it is possible to independently unload each hip of the patient, both statically and dynamically.
Two cranks indicate body support on each hip. This feature allows the therapist to precisely control the patient’s weight relief.

Main features:

  1. Static/dynamic support.
  2. Symmetrical/asymmetrical support.
  3. Rope deviation points adjustable according to the patient’s shoulder width.
  4. Central lifting winch with safety block
  5. 1 patient sling (size of your choice)
  6. 2 adjustable stools for therapists
  7. Access ramp for wheelchair
